The central deputation tenure of Harmit Singh Pahuja, a 2010-batch IAS officer of the Manipur cadre, serving as Director in the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT), has been extended by two years.
As per an order issued by the DoPT on Thursday, the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has approved the extension of Pahuja’s deputation tenure. His term, set to end on November 17, 2024, has now been extended until November 17, 2026, or until further orders, whichever comes earlier.
This extension comes in recognition of his contributions to the department, allowing him to continue in his pivotal role overseeing key personnel and training matters within the government.
