Haryana Government Announces Major IAS/HCS Officer Transfers; Check List Here

1988 batch IAS officer T.V.S.N. Prasad of Haryana Cadre appointed as Chief Secretary to Government, Haryana handling General Administration, Human Resources, Personnel & Training, Parliamentary Affairs, Vigilance Departments, and Secretary Incharge of Plan Coordination.

In a significant administrative reshuffle, the Haryana government has announced the transfer and posting of several IAS and HCS officers with immediate effect. The Governor of Haryana approved the following changes, which aim to enhance administrative efficiency and governance across the state.

  1. 1988 batch IAS officer T.V.S.N. Prasad of Haryana Cadre
  • New Post: Chief Secretary to Government, Haryana, handling General Administration, Human Resources, Personnel & Training, Parliamentary Affairs, Vigilance Departments, and Secretary Incharge of Plan Coordination.
  • Additional Role: Chief Resident Commissioner, Haryana Bhawan, New Delhi.
  • Assigned against a vacant post.
  1. 2009 batch IAS officer Mani Ram Sharma of Haryana cadre
  • New Post: Chief Executive Officer, Ayushman Bharat Haryana Health Protection Authority.
  • Additional Role: Special Secretary to Government, Haryana, Home Department.
  • Relieving 2011 batch IAS officer Aditya Dahiya of Haryana cadre of the said charge.
  1. 2011 batch IAS officer Yash Pal of Haryana cadre
  • New Post: Director, Consolidation of Land Holdings & Land Records, Haryana, Special Officer (HQ) & Special LAO, Haryana, and Special Secretary to Government, Haryana, Revenue & Disaster Management Department.
  • Replaces 2012 batch IAS officer Amna Tasneem of Haryana cadre

  • New Post: Director, Tourism, Haryana, and Special Secretary to Government, Haryana, Tourism Department.
  • Relieving Jyoti Singh, IAS (HY:2010) of the said charge.
  1. 2012 batch IAS officer Amna Tasneem of Haryana cadre
  • New Post: Managing Director, CONFED.
  • Additional Role: Secretary, Haryana State Commission for Scheduled Castes.
  • Assigned against a vacant post and relieving Ramesh Chander Bidhan, IAS (HY:2005), of the said charge.
  1. 2012 batch IAS officer Ram Kumar Singh of Haryana cadre
  • New Post: District Municipal Commissioner, Ambala, and Commissioner, Municipal Corporation, Ambala.
  • ReplacesSangeeta Tetarwal, IAS (HY:2013).
  1. 2013 batch IAS officer Sangeeta Tetarwal of Haryana cadre
  • New Post: Labour Commissioner, Haryana, and Special Secretary to Government, Haryana, Labour Department.
  • Relieving Mani Ram Sharma, IAS (HY:2009), of the said charge.
  1. 2015 batch IAS officer Neha Singh of Haryana cadre
  • New Post: Additional Resident Commissioner, Haryana Bhawan, New Delhi.
  • Assigned against a newly created post.
  1. 2004 batch HCS officer Naveen Kumar Ahuja
  • New Post: Secretary, Haryana State Agricultural Marketing Board, Panchkula.
  • Assigned against a vacant post.
  1. 2013 batch HCS officer, Virender Chaudhary
    • New Post: Managing Director, Cooperative Sugar Mills, Shahabad.
    • Relieving Rajiv Prashad, HCS (2016), of the said charge.
  2. 2016 batch HCS officer, Dr. Inder Jeet
    • New Post: General Manager, Haryana Tourism Development Corporation.
    • Replaces Virender Chaudhary, HCS (2013).
  3. 2016 batch HCS officer Rajiv Prashad
    • New Post: Joint Excise & Taxation Commissioner, Haryana.
    • Replaces Dr. Inder Jeet, HCS (2016).

Under Rule-12(1) of IAS (Pay) Rules, 2016, the positions of CEO, Ayushman Bharat Haryana Health Protection Authority, Managing Director, CONFED, and District Municipal Commissioner, Ambala, have been declared equivalent in status and responsibilities to the post of Senior Scale of IAS included in Schedule-II to the said Rules.
