Chandigarh: The Haryana government on Thursday ordered the posting and transfer of three Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers with immediate effect, as part of an administrative reshuffle aimed at strengthening key departments of the state government.
The orders were issued by Chief Secretary Anurag Rastogi and take effect immediately.
Raja Sekhar Vundru Given Charge of Food & Civil Supplies Department
Senior IAS officer Raja Sekhar Vundru, who was serving as Additional Chief Secretary (ACS), Fisheries Department, along with holding additional charge of the Transport Department, has been appointed as Additional Chief Secretary, Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs Department.
He will continue to hold the charge of the Transport Department, while being relieved of the responsibility of the Fisheries Department. The reshuffle places him at the helm of one of the most critical departments dealing with public distribution, consumer affairs and food security in the state.

D Suresh Posted as Principal Secretary, Fisheries Department
IAS officer D Suresh, who was serving as Resident Commissioner, Haryana Bhawan, New Delhi, and also holding the additional charge of Principal Secretary, Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs Department, has now been posted as Principal Secretary, Fisheries Department.
He will continue as Resident Commissioner, Haryana Bhawan, New Delhi, while relinquishing charge of the Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs Department.
Shashvat Sangwan Appointed Mission Director, SBM (Urban)
In another key posting, Shashvat Sangwan, IAS, who was serving as Sub-Divisional Officer (Civil), Thanesar, has been appointed as Mission Director, Swachh Bharat Mission (Urban) with immediate effect.
The appointment places Sangwan in charge of overseeing urban sanitation and cleanliness initiatives across Haryana under the flagship Swachh Bharat Mission.
Jaideep Kumar to Get New Posting
The government order also stated that Jaideep Kumar, whom Shashvat Sangwan replaces as Mission Director, Swachh Bharat Mission (Urban), will be assigned a new posting separately.
Administrative Reshuffle Aimed at Streamlining Governance
Officials said the reshuffle is part of the Haryana government’s ongoing efforts to streamline governance, ensure administrative efficiency and strengthen leadership across key departments, including food supply, fisheries, transport and urban sanitation.
