Chandigarh: In a major administrative reshuffle, the Haryana government has transferred and posted 23 IAS officers, reassigning several senior bureaucrats across departments including town planning, higher education, agriculture, irrigation, energy, urban development and district administration.

The transfer orders were issued by Anurag Rastogi with immediate effect, marking one of the significant bureaucratic reorganisations in the state administration this year.

Anurag Agarwal Posted as ACS, Town and Country Planning

Anurag Agarwal, who was serving as Additional Chief Secretary in Public Works (B&R), Architecture, Irrigation & Water Resources and also Advisor to the Haryana Saraswati Heritage Board, has been posted as Additional Chief Secretary, Town & Country Planning and Urban Estates Department.

This places him in charge of one of Haryana’s most strategically important departments amid rapid urban expansion.

Apoorva Kumar Singh Gets Higher Education and PWD

Apoorva Kumar Singh, earlier handling Town & Country Planning and Urban Estates, has now been shifted as Additional Chief Secretary, Higher Education Department and Additional Chief Secretary, Public Works (B&R) and Architecture Department.

The move places him in charge of both higher education policy and infrastructure planning.

Neha Singh Appointed Deputy Commissioner of Sonipat

Neha Singh, who was awaiting posting orders, has been appointed Deputy Commissioner of Sonipat.

Her appointment is one of the key district-level changes in the reshuffle.

Raja Sekhar Vundru Moved to Printing & Stationery

Raja Sekhar Vundru, Additional Chief Secretary of Food, Civil Supplies & Consumer Affairs and Transport, has been posted as Additional Chief Secretary, Printing & Stationery Department while retaining Transport.

G Anupama Gets Civil Aviation Charge

G. Anupama, who was handling SEWA Department and Citizen Resources Information, will now serve as Additional Chief Secretary, SEWA Department and Civil Aviation Department.

Vijayendra Kumar Assigned Agriculture Portfolio

Vijayendra Kumar has been posted as Additional Chief Secretary, Agriculture & Farmers’ Welfare Department.

He will also continue handling:

• Haryana Appointments and Personnel Department

• Sainik & Ardh Sainik Welfare Department

• Proposed Haryana Income Enhancement Board

Pankaj Agarwal Shifted to Irrigation and Water Resources

Pankaj Agarwal, earlier Principal Secretary Agriculture & Farmers’ Welfare and Mines & Geology, has been assigned:

• Irrigation & Water Resources Department

• Advisor, Haryana Saraswati Heritage Board

• Mines & Geology Department

Vijay Singh Dahiya Given School Education

Vijay Singh Dahiya has been moved as Principal Secretary, School Education while continuing Animal Husbandry and Sports portfolios.

Ashima Brar Gets Additional Energy Department Charge

Ashima Brar, Commissioner & Secretary Excise and Taxation and Finance, has additionally been assigned the Energy Department.

Phool Chand Meena Posted as CEO, Faridabad Metropolitan Development Authority

Phool Chand Meena, while retaining existing responsibilities, has been given additional charge as CEO of Faridabad Metropolitan Development Authority.

Saket Kumar Gets Cooperation Department

Saket Kumar, Additional Principal Secretary to Chief Minister, now also takes charge of Cooperation Department while retaining:

• Development & Panchayats

• Haryana Power Generation Corporation Limited

Mona Sreenivas Elevated as Resident Commissioner

A. Mona Sreenivas has been elevated from Additional Resident Commissioner to Resident Commissioner at Haryana Bhawan, New Delhi.

She continues as CEO of Sonipat Metropolitan Development Authority.

J Ganesan Gets Food and Citizen Resources Departments

J. Ganesan has been assigned:

• Food, Civil Supplies & Consumer Affairs
