Chandigarh: In a major administrative reshuffle, the Haryana Government has issued new posting orders for 21 senior officers, including 19 Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers, one Indian Revenue Service (IRS) officer, and one Haryana Civil Services (HCS) officer. The orders are effective immediately, as per an official notification.
Key Reshuffle Highlights: ACS-Level Appointments
The reshuffle sees strategic reassignment at the Additional Chief Secretary (ACS) level–
1990 batch IAS officer Sudhir Rajpal, ACS, retains key portfolios including Health and Family Welfare, Medical Education, and AYUSH, and is now additionally entrusted with the Environment, Forests, and Wildlife Department.
1990 batch IAS officer Dr Raja Sekhar Vundru, ACS, will now also lead the Transport Department, in addition to his current responsibilities.
1991 batch IAS officer G Anupama, ACS, has been given additional charge of the Haryana Citizen Resources Information Department.
2002 batch IAS officer TL Satyaprakash will continue to oversee the Mines and Geology Department, and has now been assigned the Women and Child Development Department.
Major Bureaucratic Movements
PC Meena, a 2004 batch IAS officer, has been appointed as Commissioner and Secretary to the Haryana Human Resources Department.
Rajiv Rattan, an IAS officer of 2008 batch, is the new Commissioner of Rohtak Division.
Yash Garg, 2009 batch IAS officer, will now serve as Director General (DG) of Industries and Commerce, and DG of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME), along with his current assignments.
Dharmender Singh, an IAS officer of 2012 batch, takes on additional charge as Administrator (HQ), Haryana Shehri Vikas Pradhikaran (HSVP).
Vivek Aggarwal, IRS, has been appointed DG of Skill Development and Industrial Training, and Secretary of the Skill Development Department, while continuing in his existing role.
Deputy Commissioner Appointments
As part of the reshuffle, three districts get new Deputy Commissioners (DCs):
Dr Munish Nagpal, a promotee IAS officer, – appointed Deputy Commissioner of Charkhi Dadri
Dr Vivek Bharti, a promotee IAS officer, – appointed Deputy Commissioner of Fatehabad
2017 batch IAS officer Satpal Sharma – appointed Deputy Commissioner of Panchkula
These appointments are seen as part of a broader effort to strengthen governance and administrative delivery at the district level.
