Ranchi: In a heartfelt ceremony held at the Chief Minister’s Residential Office on Kanke Road, Ranchi, Chief Minister Hemant Soren felicitated Havildar Dilip Tirkey of the Special Branch on the occasion of his retirement. The event was marked by warm appreciation for Tirkey’s nearly four decades of loyal and dedicated service to the state.

A Celebrated Career of Commitment and Integrity

Chief Minister Hemant Soren presented Havildar Tirkey with a bouquet, a traditional shawl, and an umbrella as tokens of gratitude and respect. Praising Tirkey’s exemplary career, the CM said that his tenure had been truly commendable. “Havildar Dilip Tirkey has served the state with utmost dedication and honesty throughout his long career,” the Chief Minister remarked. “Such devoted and hardworking employees form the backbone of our administration and their contributions will always be remembered with respect.”

Nearly 40 Years Serving the State with Dedication

Havildar Tirkey retired on September 30, 2025, culminating a service span of approximately 40 years. Since 2000, he was posted at the Chief Minister’s residence, a position that demands trust, reliability, and utmost professionalism. Throughout his tenure, Tirkey consistently fulfilled his duties with sincerity, ensuring the smooth functioning and security of the Chief Minister’s office.

Recognizing the Role of Special Branch Personnel

The Special Branch plays a vital role in maintaining law and order and providing security to key government officials and installations. Employees like Havildar Tirkey, who dedicate their entire careers to this demanding field, are crucial in supporting governance and public safety. Tirkey’s long-standing service is a testament to his commitment to the state and its people.
