Jharkhand CM Hemant Soren Reviews Pond Conservation, Development Works Ahead of Baha Puja in Nemra Village

CM inspects water conservation and beautification projects, holds administrative review for smooth festival arrangements, and emphasizes safety and community participation in Nemra village

Ramgarh: Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren visited his ancestral village Nemra in the Gola block of Ramgarh district to participate in the Baha Puja celebrations. During his visit, the CM inspected the village pond and reviewed ongoing development works, including water conservation, cleaning, and beautification projects, while also evaluating administrative preparations for the festival.

During the inspection, CM Soren emphasized the importance of pond preservation for rural life and environmental sustainability. He directed officials from the Water Resources Department to maintain quality and transparency in all ongoing projects. The CM was accompanied by the District Collector, Superintendent of Police (SP), Circle Officer (CO), and other senior departmental officers, who briefed him on the progress of the initiatives.

Administrative Review at Community Hall

After inspecting the pond, CM Soren convened a review meeting at the village community hall with administrative officials. Discussions focused on the smooth conduct of Baha Puja, including security arrangements, traffic management, and accommodation for guests. The CM instructed authorities to ensure that local residents do not face any inconvenience during the festival and engaged with villagers to understand their concerns.

Early Arrival and Preparations

CM Soren arrived in Nemra on Wednesday evening ahead of the festival. His residence has been receiving a continuous stream of guests for Baha Puja preparations. Former MLA Sita Soren was also present in the village to oversee arrangements.

Heightened Security Measures

Considering the CM’s presence, the administration has implemented stringent security measures across the village and surrounding areas. Police personnel have been deployed at strategic locations, while seating arrangements at the community hall have been organized efficiently. Traffic management is being coordinated near the BSNL tower, ensuring smooth movement for residents and visitors alike.

Festive Spirit in Nemra

The upcoming Baha Puja has created a festive atmosphere in Nemra village. Authorities are taking all necessary steps to make the traditional event peaceful, safe, and grand, balancing cultural celebration with public safety and administrative efficiency.
