HPCL Signs MoU with IIM Jammu to Foster Academic and Leadership Collaboration

Partnership aims to enhance industry-academia synergy and build future-ready professionals

New Delhi: In a significant move toward strengthening industry-academia collaboration, Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Jammu. The agreement focuses on mutual learning, industrial exposure, training, and leadership development, benefitting both students and professionals.

The MoU was formalized during a Virtual Conference held on August 1, 2025.

Focus Areas: Industrial Exposure & Leadership Development

As per the MoU, IIM Jammu students will gain direct industrial exposure and practical training opportunities with HPCL, while HPCL employees will have access to customized management and leadership development programs designed by IIM Jammu’s faculty.

This dual-focus partnership aims to equip students with real-world insights and sharpen the strategic acumen of HPCL’s workforce, aligning with the goals of corporate learning and institutional excellence.

This MoU marks a significant step in creating a vibrant ecosystem of mutual growth, learning, and capacity building,” said a joint statement issued after the event.
