New Delhi: The Housing and Urban Development Corporation Ltd. (HUDCO), in collaboration with the Ministry of Housing & Urban Affairs (MoHUA) and the Capacity Building Commission (CBC), successfully concluded a three-day Master Trainer Training Programme under Mission Karmayogi – Phase 2. The programme was held from 8–10 December 2025 and marked a significant step toward strengthening citizen-centric governance across the country.
Focus on Strengthening Public Service Delivery
The training forms a crucial part of the Rashtriya Karmayogi – Large Scale Jan Seva Programme, which aims to build a future-ready civil service capable of delivering transparent, seamless and citizen-focused governance.
A total of 17 MoHUA organisations participated in the training, including
- HUDCO
- NCRTC
- NIUA
- TCPO
- BMTPC
- NBO
- DUAC
- CPHEEO
- L&DO
and several other key bodies involved in national urban development initiatives.
Competency-Based and Citizen-Centric Training Modules
The capacity-building sessions emphasized:
- Competency-based training and assessment
- Behavioural transformation aligned with ‘Seva Bhaav’
- Citizen-centric and collaborative governance approaches
Use of digital learning tools, including the iGOT-Karmayogi platform and the PedGog App
Participants also engaged in peer learning, case study analysis, and facilitation practice sessions, strengthening their ability to act as future Karmayogi Coaches who will replicate similar training programmes in their respective organisations.
Digital Integration: iGOT-Karmayogi & PedGog
All Master Trainers completed their onboarding and registration on iGOT-Karmayogi/PedGog, ensuring alignment with the digital-first learning ecosystem envisioned under Mission Karmayogi.
The Ministry encouraged participants to continue using these platforms for:
- Learning progression
- Skill certification
- Tracking individual competency development
Implementing improvements at the workplace
Promoting Cross-Institutional Learning
Participants expressed appreciation for the cross-institutional insights, enriched conversations on competency-based governance, and practical exposure to collaborative problem-solving frameworks.
The programme reinforced the importance of embedding Mission Karmayogi principles into organisational culture, ultimately contributing to improved public service delivery, citizen experience, and administrative efficiency.
