HUDCO Signs ₹1 Lakh Crore MoU with Chhattisgarh Government to Boost Housing & Urban Infrastructure

New Delhi/ Raipur: Housing and Urban Development Corporation Limited (HUDCO) has signed a landmark Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Government of Chhattisgarh to accelerate housing and urban infrastructure development across the state. The MoU, valued at ₹1 lakh crore over the next five years, aims to provide financial support for a wide range of urban development projects and strengthen sustainable infrastructure growth in Chhattisgarh.

Comprehensive Infrastructure Development

Under this strategic partnership, HUDCO will provide structured financing for diverse infrastructure projects, including water supply, sewerage, drainage systems, roads, solid waste management, power, and renewable energy initiatives. The collaboration is designed to enable long-term, inclusive, and resilient urban development across cities and towns in Chhattisgarh.

The agreement will also focus on fostering affordable housing projects, ensuring that urban growth benefits all sections of society while promoting sustainable and environmentally responsible urbanization. By providing both technical and financial support, HUDCO aims to assist the state in meeting its housing and urban infrastructure goals efficiently.
