New Delhi: In a significant move towards environmental sustainability, HUDCO (Housing and Urban Development Corporation Limited) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the National Security Guard (NSG) to implement scientific and sustainable Municipal Solid Waste (MSW) management practices across the 1,700-acre NSG campus in Manesar.
The agreement was formalized in the presence of CMD Mr. Sanjay Kulshrestha, DCP Mr. M. Nagaraj, and Mr. Bhrigu Srinivasan, Director General (NSG), along with senior officials from both organizations.
Focus on Scientific and Sustainable Waste Management
The MoU aims to develop a modern, efficient, and eco-friendly waste management system on the sprawling NSG campus. The project will leverage scientific practices and innovative solutions to manage Municipal Solid Waste (MSW) while minimizing environmental impact.
Officials highlighted that the initiative will enhance waste segregation, processing, recycling, and safe disposal, setting a benchmark for sustainability practices in national institutions.
