New Delhi: Housing and Urban Development Corporation Limited (HUDCO) has been conferred the prestigious Rajbhasha Kirti Award for the year 2024–25. The recognition was announced during the Hindi Diwas celebrations and the 5th Akhil Bharatiya Rajbhasha Conference.

The award marks a proud achievement for HUDCO, highlighting its commitment to promoting Hindi as a medium of official communication. The accolade reaffirms HUDCO’s efforts in strengthening the use of Rajbhasha across its operations and initiatives.
Book Release on Language Technology and AI
On this occasion, a joint publication by the Rajbhasha Department (Ministry of Home Affairs) and HUDCO, titled “Bahubhashi Bharat Mein Bhasha Praudyogiki aur AI ki Bhumika”, was released. The book was unveiled by Union Home Minister Amit Shah during the ceremony.
HUDCO Chairman and Managing Director Sanjay Kulshrestha represented the organisation at the event, sharing the stage with dignitaries.
Significant Contributions in Publication
The book was edited under the guidance of the Secretary (Rajbhasha Department, Ministry of Home Affairs) and HUDCO’s Executive Director (Rajbhasha). Notable contributions came from Satendra Rathi, Assistant Director (Ministry of Home Affairs), and Dr. Rekha Chandola, Senior Manager (HUDCO). The role of HUDCO’s Rajbhasha Section was particularly commendable in bringing the publication to fruition.
