Varanasi: In a significant step towards promoting skill development and employment, Hindustan Urvarak & Rasayan Limited (HURL), under its flagship CSR initiative Project SAKSHAM, celebrated the successful completion of a six-month free Skill Development Training Programme at CIPET (Central Institute of Petrochemicals Engineering & Technology), Varanasi. The programme focused on two key trades: Machine Operator–Plastic Processing (MO-PP) and Machine Operator–Injection Moulding (MO-IM).

The occasion was marked by a Certificate Distribution and Job Placement Ceremony, held on October 8, 2025, where 75 trainees were successfully placed with reputed plastic processing industries across India—a proud milestone that reflects the tangible impact of the programme in today’s evolving job market.

Driving Employability Through Industry-Focused Training

Organised in collaboration with CIPET, this initiative is part of HURL’s broader vision under Project SAKSHAM to build industry-ready youth, especially from underprivileged and rural backgrounds. The training, offered free of cost, equips participants with hands-on technical skills and practical experience aligned with the needs of the manufacturing sector.

The job placement of 75 candidates stands as a testament to the relevance and quality of the training, opening doors for sustainable livelihoods and long-term career growth.
