Kuwait City/New Delhi: IAS officer and Kerala’s renowned anti-corruption crusader, Dr. Raju Narayana Swamy, has authored a new book aimed at Mathematics Olympiad aspirants. The book, styled around 24 questions taken from previous Olympiad papers along with detailed solutions, spans 104 pages and is designed to help students excel in competitive exams.
This marks Dr. Swamy’s third book specifically targeting students preparing for Math Olympiads. The book was released at a special function in Kuwait City by Sanjay K. Muluka, Deputy Chief of Mission at the Embassy of India, who is currently holding charge as India’s Ambassador to Kuwait.
A Prolific Author and Award-Winning Scholar
Dr. Swamy, a 1991 batch IAS officer and all-India rank 1 holder, has penned 35 books to date. His previous works include the Sahitya Akademi Award-winning travelogue Shantimanthram Muzhangunna Thazhvarayil and Neelakkurinji: Oru Vyazhavattathile Vasantham, which earned him the Kerala State Award for Children’s Literature.
Beyond literature, Dr. Swamy is a respected intellectual property law scholar and governance innovator. He received the Leonardo da Vinci Fellowship in 2021 from George Mason University’s Center for Intellectual Property and Innovation Policy, recognizing his contributions to intellectual property law scholarship.
Notable Achievements and Contributions
Dr. Swamy has served as Central Observer for the Election Commission of India a record 38 times, including as an International Observer in the 2018 Zimbabwe elections. He was honored with the prestigious 2018 Satyendra K. Dubey Memorial Award by IIT Kanpur for his relentless fight against corruption and has been awarded the Homi Bhabha Fellowship in cyber law.
With academic credentials including a B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering from IIT Madras, a PhD in Law from Gujarat National Law University, and gold medals in PG Diploma and LLM from premier National Law Universities, Dr. Swamy combines rigorous academics with effective governance.
