IAS officer Isha Kalia will now take charge as Director in the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs (MoHUA). The Central Government has approved her appointment, said an order issued by Department of Personnel & Training on July 18. Her appointed has been done under the Central Staffing Scheme for a period of five years.
Ms. Isha is a 2009-batch Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer of Punjab cadre. She was presently posted in Punjab and has served as Director General School Education (DGSE) at the headquarters of the Punjab education department, Mohali.
