As per a circular issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT), Mr. K G Jagadeesha (2005 batch IAS officer), the incumbent Secretary in the Coffee Board of India under the Department of Commerce, was recommended by the Appointments Committee of Cabinet (ACC) to be given additional charge of Secretary (JS level) of the Spices Board of India for a tenure of six months with effect from March 18th till the appointment of a regular incumbent to the post or until further orders, whichever transpires earlier.
