Mr. Lokhande Prashant, a 2001-batch IAS officer of the AGMUT cadre, has been assigned the responsibility of handling Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh Affairs in the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA), as per the latest work allocations.
Previously, Mr. Prashant had also managed matters related to Jammu & Kashmir and Kashmir Affairs. Currently serving as Joint Secretary in the MHA, his role is considered crucial, with all relevant orders being copied to him.
