Twenty six IAS officers, who are under training in LBSNAA, are currently on a Bharat Darshan tour, a necessary part of LBSNAA training.
These young and dynamic IAS probationers have reached Kupwara, Jammu and Kashmir, where they have had an interactive session with the Deputy Commissioner of the district, Ms. Ayushi Sudan, an IAS officer of 2017 batch.
Ms. Sudan welcomed the IAS probationers and expressed her enthusiasm for engaging with the future administrators of the country.
The session aimed to provide probationers with a firsthand understanding of the challenges, opportunities and administrative intricacies in a region as significant and diverse as Kupwara.
Ms. Sudan highlighted the historical, cultural and strategic importance of Kupwara in the region and provided a comprehensive overview of the various development projects and initiatives undertaken by the district administration especially during the last 4 years.
The interactive session witnessed a vibrant exchange of ideas, where the IAS probationers had the opportunity to pose questions and seek insights into the unique administrative challenges faced by the district.
Discussions ranged from issues related to security governance, healthcare, education, infrastructure development, to the socio-economic dynamics of the region.
The event concluded with presentation of mementos to all the probationers by the Deputy Commissioner and the IAS probationers expressed gratitude for the enriching interaction, acknowledging its role in broadening their perspectives and preparing them for the challenges that lie ahead in their administrative careers.
