Three IAS officers of different cadre and batches have been repatriated to their parent cadre by the central government.
1990 batch IAS officer of Punjab cadre, Mr. Vijoy Kumar Singh, has been repatriated to his parent cadre on the request of government of Punjab. He was Secretary, Department of Ex-servicemen Welfare, Ministry of Defence.
1995 batch IAS officer of Karnataka cadre, Mr. Maheshwar Rao, has been repatriated to his parent cadre. He was Additional Secretary and Financial Advisor, Department of Space. The Karnataka government had requested to the central government for his repatriation.
2013 batch IAS officer of Telangana cadre, Mr. Adwait Kumar Singh, has been given premature repatriation to his parent cadre on personal grounds. He was Deputy Secretary in Ministry of Family and Welfare.
