IPS officer Naveen Kumar was issued a notice under Section 41-a of CrPC
Joint Director of RBVR Telangana State Police Academy (TSPA), B Naveen Kumar, was issued a notice on Wednesday by the Central Crime Station (CCS) police on the basis of a complaint filed by the wife of retired IAS officer Bhanwar Lal who had previously served as chief electoral officer of Telangana and AP.
The complaint alleges Mr. Kumar’s involvement in a cheating and forgery case. The couple have accused two persons and the IPS officer of living in their flat without paying rent and refusing to vacate.
On Wednesday, IPS officer Naveen Kumar was called to the CCS and issued a notice under Section 41-a of CrPC, asking him to provide information related to the case within three days.
