In a minor bureaucratic reshuffle, the Assam government has transferred and posted 2 IAS officers.
1996 batch IAS officer Mukesh Ch. Sahu, who is Principal Secretary, Women & Child Development, Social Justice & Empowerment, Tribal Affairs (Plain) and Welfare of Bodoland Department, has been relieved from the charge of Principal Secretary, Social Justice & Empowerment Department.
While Mr. Biswajit Pegu, an IAS officer of 2009 batch, has been transferred and posted as Secretary, Social Justice & Empowerment Department with additional charge of Secretary, Home & Political Department. He was serving as Secretary, Home & Political, Environment & Forest Department.
