1994 batch IAS officer of Assam-Meghalaya cadre, Mr. Avinash Purushottam Das Joshi, has been promoted to Chief Secretary Grade (Apex Scale, Level 17 of the Pay Matrix).
He is serving as Additional Chief Secretary, General Administration, Health and Family Welfare Departments and Additional Principal Resident Commissioner, Assam Bhawan, New Delhi.
