The Appointments Committeé of the Cabinet has approved the premature repatriation of two IAS officers to their parent cadre. The officers are –
- Virendra Mittal (IAS:2007:AM), Joint Secretary in the Cabinet Secretariat, has been repatriated to his parent cadre with the imposition of an extended cooling-off condition.
- P Ashok Babu (IAS:2003:AM), Joint Secretary in the Department of Health & Family Welfare, has been repatriated to his parent cadre with the imposition of an extended cooling-off condition.
