In a recent development, 1999 batch Maharashtra cadre IAS officer, Ms. Indra Mallo, was appointed as the Joint Secretary at the National Authority Chemical Weapons Convention (NACWC), functioning under the Cabinet Secretariat, replacing Mr. Sudhanshu Gupta (IFS).
Ms. Mallo, who had previously served as the Joint Secretary in the Department of Women and Child Development, shall occupy her new office till February 27, 2027, or until she receives further notifications.
