Following an order issued by the Department of Personnel & Training (DoPT) on May 8, Mr. K Sanjay Murthy (1989 batch IAS), the incumbent Secretary in the Department of Higher Education, was given additional charge as Secretary of the Department of School Education & Literacy. Mr. Murthy substitutes Mr. Sanjay Kumar (1990 batch IAS), who is on leave.
