Amidst a recent development, the government of Delhi (UT) mandated the transfer of five IAS officers following a minor bureaucratic shake-up.
Mr. Prashant Goyal (1993 batch) has been appointed principal secretary and Commissioner in the Department of Commerce. Mr. Navin Kumar Chaudhary (1994 batch) was mandated to assume office as the principal secretary in the Department of Irrigation and Flood Control.
Ms. Mitali Namchoom (2011 batch) was appointed Director in the Department of Women and Child Development, replacing Officer Krishna Kumar (2010 batch,) who in turn has been appointed as Special Secretary in the Public Works Department, replacing Mr. Pankaj Kumar (2012 batch) — posted as Controller in the Department of Weights and Measurements with additional charge as Deputy Commissioner (HQ).
