IAS officer Durga Shankar Mishra has been appointed as chief secretary of Uttar Pradesh Government. Now he will be responsible as the Principal Advisor to the state government on all matters of Administration.
As per the information the appointment committee of the cabinet has approved the repatriation of Mr Mishra to his home cadre in the view of his proposed appointment as chief secretary Uttar Pradesh by the state government.
Mr. Mishra is 1984 batch IAS officer from Uttar Pradesh cadre and has served in various key positions such as Secretary, Ministry of housing and Urban aAffairs, Chairman of Delhi Metro rail corporation and President of IAS association.
