In a major bureaucratic reshuffle in Himachal Pradesh, the Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu led government has transferred and posted 18 IAS, 12 IPS and 16 Himachal Pradesh Police Service officers.
These transfers include 8 Deputy Commissioners and 4 SPs.
2013 batch IAS officer Raghav Sharma has been posted as director, rural development and panchayati raj-cum-ex-officio special secretary.
Mr. Hemraj Bairwa, an IAS officer of 2013 batch, has been made DC, Kangra. He will also hold additional charge of HP Board of School Education chairperson.
Aditya Negi has been posted as settlement officer, Kangra division with Anupam Kashyap, who was director of transport, taking over as Shimla DC.
Amit Kumar Sharma, director (personnel and finance), HP state electricity board, who also has additional charge as additional controller of stores, department of industries, has been given the post of Kinnaur DC.
In the reshuffle in Police Department, 2014 batch IPS officer Sakshi Verma has been posted as Mandi SP. She was SP, Kullu.
2014 batch IPS officer Karthikeyan Gokulachandran has been posted as SP, Kullu. He was Bilaspur SP.
2012 batch IPS officer and Superintendent of Police (cyber-crime), Rohit Malpani, has been posted as commandant, first armed police battalion, Junga.
2018 batch IPS officer Shrishti Pandey, SP law-and-order will take over as Kinnaur SP. While Kinnaur SP Vivek Chehal has been shifted to Bilaspur as SP.
2006 batch IPS officer Bimal Gupta, inspector general of police, has been posted as IG State Vigilance and Anti-corruption bureau. He was awaiting posting.
2008 batch IPS officer and deputy inspector general (DIG ACB) G Sivakumar has been posted as DIG, Mandi.
