New Delhi: A Muthukumar (IAS: 2009: JH) has been appointed as the new Private Secretary to Dr. Suman K. Bery, Vice Chairperson of NITI Aayog. The Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) issued the official order on Thursday, February 27, 2025, confirming his appointment.
According to the order, the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved Muthukumar’s appointment, which will take effect from the date he assumes charge. His tenure will continue until December 4, 2027, or will be co-terminus with the tenure of the Vice Chairperson of NITI Aayog, or until further orders, whichever comes first.
Additionally, the government has regularized the period Muthukumar served as Private Secretary to the Vice Chairperson of NITI Aayog, effective from July 16, 2024.
