The Digital News Publishers Association [DNPA] awards aim to bring together the foremost minds from around the world to delve into the future of digital news media and the myriad challenges it encounters. The DNPA Awards were scheduled at Hotel Shangri-La, New Delhi on 6 February.
IAS officer Abhishek Singh’s team has been awarded in the following areas:
- Poshan Tracker
- Digilocker
- Umang
- Karma yogi
They won 4 of the 5 awards at the DNPA Awards. The digilocker won the DNPA Award in the Ease of Living Category, Umang won the DNPA Award in mobile governance and administrative reform, Karma Yogi won the award in the Education category and the Poshan Tracker won the award in The Women & Child Welfare Reforms.
The luminaries, policymakers and leaders who delivered the keynote at the DNPA conclave included Mr. Anurag Thakur, Hon’ble Union Minister of Information and Broadcasting Government of India; Mr. Rajeev Chandrasekhar, Hon’ble Minister of State in the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship; and Electronics and Information Technology Government of India; Mr. Amitabh Kant, G20 Sherpa and former NITI Aayog CEO and Mr. S Krishnana, Secretary, Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology.
