1990 batch IAS officer of Haryana cadre, Mr. Anurag Rastogi, has been appointed as Chairman of Haryana Staff Selection Commission (HSSC).
The Haryana government issued the order on Tuesday.
Mr. Rastogi will replace Bhaopal Singh Khadri, as the post has been vacant since March 15, when Mr. Bhaopal Singh Khadri resigned from the position of HSSC Chairman.
Mr. Rastogi will hold this charge in addition to his present duties. His present duties include Additional Chief Secretary, Finance and Planning Departments, and Additional Chief Secretary, PW (B&R) and Architecture Department.
