Amidst a recent development, the government of Puducherry issued a circular relieving two senior IAS officers, Mr. E Vallavan (2011 batch) and Mr. Abhijit Vijay Chaudhari (2012 batch), from their designations.
The order issued under the authority of Lt Governor Tamilisai Soundararajan relieved Mr. Vallavan from the post of Secretary in the Department of Revenue and Mr. Chaudhari from his post of Secretary to the Lt Governor himself.
Following the fresh transfer orders from the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA), Mr. Vallavan has been transferred to Goa and Mr. Chaudhari to the Chandigarh administration.
