The central deputation tenure of Ms. Kavita Singh (2004-batch Punjab cadre IAS officer) as Joint Secretary in the Cabinet Secretariat has been extended for two years.
As per an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on February 10, 2025, the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has approved the extension beyond March 15, 2025, or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
Her continued tenure underscores her key role in administrative affairs within the Cabinet Secretariat.
