IAS officer of 2012 batch, Ms. Neha Prakash, who is currently posted in Uttar Pradesh, has been given the position of Honorary Advisor Committee Member of BRICS Chamber of Commerce & Industry (CCI) Young leaders. Ms. Prakash will play the role of an advisor, looking after the new annual programs and making them an integral part of the BRICS Chamber of Commerce & Industry, New Delhi. Currently, she holds the post of Special Secretary in the IT electronics department and NRI departments and MD UPDESCO.
The letter revealing the news stated, “We are pleased to confirm your appointment as the Honorary Advisor of our proposed new annual program of BRICS CCI YOUNG LEADERS as an integral part of BRICS Chamber of Commerce & Industry, New Delhi. This program aims to connect youth in BRICS nations and beyond.”
Furthermore, the appointment letter forwarded by Mr. Sameep Shastri, the Vice Chairman of BRICS CCI, specified that the role to be played by Ms. Neha is on a voluntary basis, and there are no financials involved while performing the roles, making it a no/zero remuneration appointment.

BRICS CCI Young Leaders hold a variety of undertakings each year under the pillars of Youth Leadership, Global Research, and Thought Leadership, and connect with students through its institutional network.
