Mr Pawan Yadav, a 2014-batch IAS officer of Manipur cadre, has been appointed as Deputy Secretary in the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA).
The appointment, effective immediately from the date of assuming charge, was confirmed in an official order issued by the Department of Personnel & Training (DoPT) on July 1.
Yadav, currently serving on compulsory wait in the Ministry of Power, has been selected for a tenure extending up to April 2, 2027, or until further orders, as per the directive.
The order further instructed the Ministry of Power to relieve Yadav promptly to facilitate his transition to the Ministry of Home Affairs.
