On February 10, via a circular, the Chandigarh Administration announced the granting of additional responsibility to the incumbent Advisor to the Union Territory Administration (Chandigarh), 1992 batch AGMUT cadre IAS officer Rajeev Verma. Mr. Verma has been mandated to take up additional charge as the Chairman of the Chandigarh Housing Board.
Interestingly, Mr. Verma became Advisor to UT Administration just a few days back on February 7. Hence, the decision to grant him additional duties within a week of his previous posting speaks volumes of the officer’s administrative prowess.
