Mr. N Prasanth (2007 batch IAS) was removed from his post as the Special Secretary of the SC/ST Development & Backward Classes Development and subsequently posted as the Special Secretary in the Department of Agriculture by the government of Kerala.
Some of his colleagues had accused Mr. Prasanth of not clearing the files at his disposal which led to Dr. A Jaytilak (1991 batch IAS), the incumbent Additional Chief Secretary of the Administrative Department, seeking an explanation from Mr. Prasanth for the alleged irregularities in his work ethics and eventually removing him from the post.
