Mr. Sanjay Meena, a 2002-batch IAS officer, was made Metropolitan Commissioner of the Nagpur Metropolitan Region Development Authority
As many as 10 IAS officers have been transferred across Maharashtra upon the recommendation of the Election Commission of India (ECI) ahead of the Lok Sabha polls. Mr. Kailash Shinde (a 2013-batch IAS officer) was asked to join as the Municipal Commissioner of the Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation (NMMC).
The incumbent Commissioner of Thane Municipal Corporation, Mr. Abhijit Bangar (2008 batch) and the Mission Director of Jal Jeevan Mission, Mr. Amit Saini (2007 batch), have been made Additional Commissioners of BMC.
Mr. Sanjay Meena (2002 batch) was asked to take charge as the Metropolitan Commissioner of the Nagpur Metropolitan Region Development Authority. Mr. Santosh Patil (2013 batch), the CEO of Kolhapur Zilla Parishad, was transferred as the CEO of Pune Zilla Parishad, while Mr. Shubham Gupta (2019 batch), the CEO of Dhule Zilla Parishad was transferred as the CEO of Jalgaon Zilla Parishad.
