LBSNAA IAS Trainees Study Rural Milk Practices in Gujarat

The officers studied milk collection, transportation, storage, production, economic empowerment of women members, animal husbandry, and agricultural activities

During their visit between October 24-26, 72 trainee officers of the Indian Administrative Service (IAS) from the Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration (LBSNAA) visited Panchmahal Jilla Sahkari Dudh Utpadak Sangh (Panchamrut Dairy) in Godhra and milk producers in Naroda, Umiya, Aniyad, Gokalpura, and Ambika. They also went to Pavagadh.

The 98th foundation course-2023 trainee officers studied milk collection, transportation, storage, milk production, economic empowerment of women members, animal husbandry, and agricultural activities. They also went to the milk federation’s plant, the Khadiya livestock feed factory, and the Chopda and Tadva chilling centers. They were kept up to date on joint actions. They were honored to commemorate the 50th anniversary of Panchamrut dairy.
