2010 batch IAS officer of Maharashtra cadre Ashutosh Salil has been re-designated as a director. He has been promoted to the Director level within the same Minister’s office.
He is currently serving as Private Secretary at the Deputy Secretary level to Minister for Culture, Tourism & Development of North Eastern Region, G Krishna Reddy.
This re-designation, a personal measure for Ashutosh Salil, will be effective from the date he assumes the responsibilities of the new position. The appointment is valid for a specific period, extending until August 28, 2026, on a coterminous basis with Minister G Krishna Reddy.
Alternatively, the tenure may conclude if Ashutosh Salil discontinues his role as the Private Secretary or based on further instructions from the Competent Authority.
It is noteworthy that Ashutosh Salil commenced his central deputation tenure on August 24, 2021.
