On February 28th, the government of Odisha announced a shake-up in the state bureaucracy by transferring four IAS officers to new designations across the state.
The names of the officers include:
The incumbent Collector of Mayurbhanj, 2011 batch IAS officer, Mr. Ashish Thakare was mandated to assume office as the Collector of Balasore, replacing Mr. Dattatraya Bhausaheb, 2016 batch IAS, who got posted as the new Collector of Mayurbhanj.
Mr. Siddharth Shankar Swain, 2014 batch IAS, the incumbent CMC Commissioner, has been mandated to assume office as the new Collector of Puri district. The post of CMC Commissioner shall now be occupied by Mr. Bijay Kumar Dash, 2012 batch IAS, who has been serving thus far as the Collector of Puri.
