After receiving a nod from the Reserve Bank of India, the HDFC Bank re-appointed Mr. Atanu Chakraborty (Retired IAS officer) as Chairperson & Independent Director of the HDFC Bank Board for three more years. Mr. Chakraborty is a 1986 batch Gujarat cadre retired IAS officer who primarily worked in the fields of finance, economic policy, petroleum, and natural gas. Before his superannuation in 2020, Mr. Chakraborty was posted as Secretary in the Department of Economic Affairs.
