In a major bureaucratic reshuffle in Uttar Pradesh, the Yogi Adityanath led state government has transferred and posted 8 IAS officers, including 6 District Magistrates (DM) and a CDO. While two IAS officers have been given additional charges with their current postings.

District Magistrates of Fatehpur, Sultanpur, Maharajganj, Barabanki, Jhansi and Bareilly have been changed.

2011 batch IAS officer Ravindra Kumar has been removed from the post of DM of Jhansi and given the responsibility of DM Bareilly.

2013 batch IAS officer Satyendra Kumar has been made the DM of Barabanki. He was posted in Maharajganj as DM.

While, Avinash Kumar, 2013 batch IAS officer and Barabanki DM, has been made the District Magistrate of Jhansi.

IAS Anunay Jha, an IAS officer of 2015 batch and the Municipal Commissioner of Mathura, has been posted as the District Magistrate of Maharajganj.

2017 batch IAS officer Praveen Verma, who was posted as CDO of Ballia, has been appointed as the CEO of Bundelkhand Industrial Development Authority (BIDA).

IAS C Indhumathy batch, an IAS officer of 2012 batch, has been appointed as the DM of Fatehpur. She was posted as Mission Director in Uttar Pradesh State Rural Livelihood Mission.

2014 batch IAS officer Kritika Jyotsna has been appointed DM of Sultanpur. She was holding the post of Special Secretary of Food Logistics Department and Managing Director in Uttar Pradesh State Food and Essential Commodities Corporation.

Bal Krishna Tripathi, an IAS officer of 2008 batch, has been appointed Commissioner in-Charge of Chitrakoot Dham Division. He was holding the post of Special Secretary in the Agricultural Production Commissioner Branch.

1997 batch IAS officer, Dr Shanmuga Sundaram M. K (M K S Sundaram), Principal Secretary, Vocational Education and Skill Development Department, has been given the post of Principal Secretary, Basic Education Department.

1996 batch IAS officer, M. Devraj, who is holding the charge of Principal Secretary, Technical Education Department, has been given the additional charge of Principal Secretary, Vocational Education and Skill Development Department, along with his present post.

1994 batch senior IAS officer Partha Sarthi Sen Sharma, who is holding the post of Principal Secretary of Medical Health and Family Welfare Department, has been given the additional charge of Principal Secretary of Medical Education Department along with the present post.
