In a recent development, Ms. Nivedita Shukla Verma, a 1991-batch senior IAS officer who is currently posted as the Secretary in the Department of Chemicals and Petro-Chemicals, was given additional charge as the Chairperson in the National Authority Chemical Weapons Convention (NACWC) under the Cabinet Secretariat.
Officer Verma shall hold her additional charge from June 15th to June 28th, during the period of absence on leave of Mr. Mukhmeet Singh Bhatia, a 1990-batch Jharkhand cadre IAS officer.
