The central deputation tenure of 1999 batch IAS officer Bhawna Garg of Punjab cadre as Deputy Director General (DDG) (JS level), UIDAI, Regional Office, Chandigarh has been extended for a period of one year. According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on Friday (02.06.2023), the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the proposal of the Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology to extend the deputation tenure of Ms. Garg for a period of one year beyond 14.05.2023 or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
