IAS officer Rajesh Meena of batch 2012 and Bihar cadre) has been appointed as the Deputy Director of the Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration (LBSNAA) for a four-year term. The Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) confirmed this appointment on August 1, 2024. Meena will assume his new role under the central staffing scheme at the Deputy Secretary level.

The Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration (LBSNAA) is a premier training institute for civil servants located in Mussoorie, Uttarakhand, India. Its primary mission is to train Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers and conduct the Foundation Course for Group-A Central Civil Services, focusing on public policy and public administration.
