New Delhi: The Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) has issued several key notifications concerning central deputations, repatriations, and tenure extensions of senior officers across ministries and public sector undertakings.
Dinesh Hariram Mate Appointed Deputy Director General, Directorate General of Shipping
According to an order issued on Tuesday, Dinesh Hariram Mate (IA&AS: 2012) has been appointed as Deputy Director General (DDG) at the Deputy Secretary level in the Directorate General of Shipping, Mumbai, under the Ministry of Ports, Shipping & Waterways.
Mr. Mate, recommended for central deputation by the Comptroller and Auditor General of India (CAG), will serve under the Central Staffing Scheme for a tenure of four years, from the date of assuming charge or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
This appointment reflects the government’s ongoing efforts to strengthen administrative capacity in maritime and shipping governance.
Purna Chandra Kishan Repatriated to Rajasthan Cadre on Personal Grounds
Purna Chandra Kishan (IAS:2005:RJ), currently serving as Joint Secretary, Department of Agriculture & Farmers Welfare, has been prematurely repatriated to his parent Rajasthan cadre on personal grounds.
An alumnus of IIT Kharagpur (B.Tech), Mr. Kishan has been known for his administrative acumen and multi-sectoral experience. Fluent in English, Hindi, and Oriya, the 1974-born officer has held key roles contributing to India’s agricultural policy and welfare initiatives.
Tenure of Brajesh Kumar Tripathy Extended as CVO, Coal India Ltd.
The tenure of Brajesh Kumar Tripathy (IRSE:1998) as Chief Vigilance Officer (CVO) of Coal India Limited (CIL), Kolkata, has been extended for two more years, up to November 15, 2027.
This extension comes in recognition of his continued contributions to strengthening transparency and vigilance mechanisms within the public sector coal enterprise.
