New Delhi: The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has approved a one-year extension of the central deputation tenure of Dr. Raghav Langer (IAS), currently serving as Secretary at the National Medical Commission (NMC). The extension will be effective beyond October 3, 2025, or until further orders, whichever comes earlier, as per a Department of Personnel & Training (DoPT) order issued by the Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances, and Pensions.
The approval follows a proposal from the Department of Health & Family Welfare, recognizing Dr. Langer’s contributions in policy-making and administration within the health sector.
About Dr. Raghav Langer
Dr. Raghav Langer is a 2009-batch IAS officer from the Uttarakhand cadre. He holds an M.B.B.S. from Jammu University and a Master’s in Public Policy & Management from IGNOU, Delhi.
