Senior IPS officer Vineet Vinayak, a 1995 batch officer from the Sikkim cadre, has been appointed as the Additional Director General (ADG) of the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB). An official order confirming the appointment was issued recently.
Before this new role, Vinayak served in various important positions, including as the Central Range DIG in Patna, Bihar, for nine years on state-to-state deputation. He also held the positions of SP in Khagaria and Nalanda, and SSP of Patna. Additionally, Vinayak has had significant experience working with the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) in various capacities.
This appointment marks a key step in Vinayak’s distinguished career in law enforcement, particularly in the fight against drug trafficking and organized crime.
