1990 batch Indian Foreign Service (IFS) officer, Dinkar Asthana, has been concurrently accredited as the next High Commissioner of India to the Republic of Gambia. He will be staying in Dakar.
He is presently the Ambassador of India to the Republic of Senegal.
He is expected to take up the assignment shortly.
